Terms of Service

1. Agreement to terms
By using this website, signing up for an account, or joining a membership plan, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. What the site offers
TheDougMahnke.com is a membership website with a digital store. Members may receive access to exclusive content, live drawing sessions, vault drops, and member pricing on digital goods. Specific benefits depend on the membership tier in effect at the time.
3. Memberships and subscriptions
Memberships are billed on a recurring basis unless canceled. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current. We may change membership prices, features, or billing cycles with reasonable notice to active members. Canceled accounts keep access through the end of the current paid period.
4. Digital goods and licensing
Purchases and membership downloads grant you a personal, non-commercial license to use the digital files for your own enjoyment, reference, or personal projects. You may not resell, redistribute, sublicense, or bundle these files without written permission. All artwork and content remain the intellectual property of Doug Mahnke Art, LLC and the credited artists.
5. Member submissions and screening
Pages you submit are private to you and the studio team until approved by our moderators; Doug marks up selected pages after approval. Declined submissions stay private.
All member uploads are automatically screened by software, including artificial intelligence, and may be reviewed by our team at any time. Screening is triage: it can delay or hold an upload pending human review. People make the decisions.
By submitting work you grant Doug Mahnke Art, LLC a non-exclusive license to display the approved page and any markup on it within the member area. Use outside the member area — social media, marketing, or the public site — happens only if you turn on the sharing option for that page.
Upload only your own work. Prohibited uploads include: sexually explicit content; sexual content involving minors in any medium, including drawings; extreme gore; other people’s artwork presented as your own; and anything illegal. Prohibited files may be preserved and reported as required by law.

6. Account conduct
Do not share login credentials, use another member’s account, harass other users, or upload harmful or illegal content. Members are also expected to follow the community rules posted in the member area. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.
7. Refunds
Digital goods and memberships are generally final. Refund requests will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may be granted at our sole discretion within 14 days of purchase if the content was not substantially accessed or downloaded.
8. Intellectual property
All artwork, trademarks, text, and design on this site are owned by Doug Mahnke Art, LLC or licensed to us. You may not use them for commercial purposes without written permission. The name Doug Mahnke, the site branding, and the artwork are protected by copyright and trademark law.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate a membership at any time. We may suspend or terminate any account at any time, with or without cause, at our sole discretion. Termination for violation of these terms forfeits the current billing period. Termination without cause receives a prorated refund of the unused period. We will terminate the accounts of members who repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
10. Limitation of liability
The site and content are provided “as is.” Doug Mahnke Art, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, loss of access, or reliance on any content. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Lake County, Illinois.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms. Material changes will be posted on the site with a revised effective date.
