Commissions

Doug's drawing table is committed to his publishing work, and the studio is fortunate to receive more commission requests than it can accommodate. Commissions are not open on an ongoing basis — a small number of slots open occasionally between projects.

Commission openings are announced first to Studio Circle members.

Serious collectors are welcome to apply to the waitlist. When a slot opens, applicants are contacted in the order they came in.

Commissioned art is for the buyer's personal collection. Publication or commercial use is a licensing conversation.

Studio commissions are finished works produced at the drawing table — not convention sketches. Convention appearances and everything else fan-related live on the main site.
